How to use the chart
Costs are cumulative over a 50 year period. Years between sanding determines how often Hapwood needs to be refinished or reinstalled. Resanding can be done more or less frequently based on style changes, traffic, and finish used. Number of resands is impacted by the state of the floor prior to refinishing and the original Hapwood wear layer (consult with your contractor, but we have seen this number range from 2-5 depending on these factors).
